Publishing Goals

Hello,

Thank you for following along with us during our start up process. We are coming to a close on our first submission window and the response has been HUGE! We’ve received hundreds of submissions so far and found many great stories straight from the slush pile.

We appreciate the help and support all of you have offered as we prepare for the start of our publishing schedule. We have almost enough stories from the first submission window to publish one story a week for a year. However, it’s our desire to publish more frequently than that. We would like to share two, three, or more Drabbles with you a week along with the interviews, author spotlights and articles while still paying professional rates.

In order to do this, we need your help. We just yesterday launched a crowdfunding campaign on Indiegogo. We hope to raise enough funds to open another submission window and double our publishing frequency. But we need your support. If you don’t feel inclined to pitch in monetarily please consider sharing our campaign to reach your social circles. With your help, we want to build a professional outlet for micro science fiction here at Martian. Thank you for everything you do to support us.
